ATTENDANCE

Students at DREAM will be expected to be in attendance or to have a pre-established work plan designed with their proposal team.

DREAM Technical Academy believes that regular school attendance is directly related to success in academics, benefits the student socially, provides opportunities for important communications between staff and students, and establishes regular habits of dependability important to the future of the student.

School starts at 7:55 am. Any student arriving later than 8 am will be counted tardy until 8:30 am, whereabouts they will be counted absent for the morning.

Parents/guardians(regardless of student age) need to call the school by 8:00 am, send a note, or email dreamattendance@technicalacademies.org if their student will be late/absent/needs to leave during school. The attendance line is 320-262-5643. If no call/note/email is received, the student does not have permission to leave until a parent/guardian is reached.

If attendance is not taken seriously and school work is not completed, following 15 unexcused absences, the student will be dropped from the school attendance rolls and will need to complete a full admissions packet in order to re-enroll with the District.

ILLNESS

A child will be sent home with a temperature above 100 degrees. If a child has a temperature above 100 degrees, vomits or has diarrhea within the past 24 hours, please do not send him/her to school.
